Hood extension panels, also known as cowl panels, are designed to replace the trucks existing lower hood extensions – available for Peterbilt 388 models in standard, notched and wide. Uses existing hardware as well as additional hardware (included).
For 2015+ Peterbilt 388 and 389 models, a change has taken place with the renaming of the former 388. Our product line refers to a 388, which is the NEW 389 short hood (123″ BBC). The 389’s referred to in our product line are the NEW 389 long hood (131″ BBC). When ordering parts, please use the 388 numbers for the NEW 389 Short Hoods and the 389 parts for the NEW 389 Long Hood.
