Lower Hood Panels

Lower hood panels accentuate and cover the lower portion of the hood on Peterbilt 389 models, directly behind the wheel well. Huck rivets must be ground out for installation. Carriage bolts, which are included, are used to replace 8 of the huck rivets. The other 4 must be left out in order for the panel to rest flat against the side of the hood. Hardware is included. For 2015+ Peterbilt 388 and 389 models, a change has taken place with the renaming of the former 388. Our catalog refers to a 388, which is the NEW 389 short hood. The 389’s referred to in our catalog are the NEW 389 long hood. When ordering parts, please use the 388 numbers for the NEW 389 Short Hoods and the 389 parts for the NEW 389 Long Hood.
