“The rear window guards protect the rear glass from breaking – while doing so with style,” commented Thur. “Designed to act as a screen, the guards are able to open and close as needed – locking into place when required with a durable center latch.”
Back at the front of the truck, fender guards are another functional accessory – designed for each truck make and model. From below headlight, to full headlight surrounds, fender guards are a near must-have layer of protection.
“Fender guards are one of the best defenses against road debris and the effects of high mileage wear and tear,” Thur said.

On Peterbilt 579 models with fairings, a kick panel has been meticulously designed for both the driver and passenger sides of the truck. Available under Dieter’s brand products, as well as the Panelite line of products – a variety of options to suit every configuration is available.
“The battery/toolbox cover kick panels protect the paint on the fairing – which is a vulnerable area on the truck,” Thur said. The panels are available individually – either with or without a grab handle cutout, or in a pair.
When spending a large amount of time in the cab of the truck – fresh air is always welcome. This problem is solved with the door window shade – these adhere to the outside of the door and channel away rain, sleet and snow when the windows are open – allowing for fresh air even in less than desirable weather.
